Personal Profile: Shri Anil Rajvanshi, Chairman, SRTEPC is the Senior Executive Vice President & Head (Corporate and Industry Affairs) at Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL). Shri Rajvanshi is also member of the National Committee of Textiles of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). He is also associated with the Textiles Committee and represents Reliance Industries Limited at The Synthetic and Art Silk Mills Research Association (SASMIRA). He has many years of experience of working with major fibre producers and has been involved with the Indian manmade fibre textiles industry since 1989.

Personal Profile: Under his guidance, the group has set-up a process house with the latest technologies in dyeing and printing; an embroidery unit capable of creation of latest designs of embroidery for Indian as well as overseas market; wholesale, retail and export of fabrics under the brand name ‘Prafful’ and a manufacturing unit for nylon filament yarns. Shri Aggarwal has more than 30 years of experience in the textile field looking after the operational and financial aspects of the Prafful Group and is the main coordinator for implementing new projects of the group. Shri Aggarwal is also involved in various social and trade activities in Surat.

Mr. Sanjay Jain

Personal Profile: Shri Sanjay Jain is the Managing Director of TT Limited, which is a Rs 800 crore vertically integrated textiles (fibre to fashion) company. Shri Jain is a double gold medalist from IIM (Ahmedabad) apart from being a rank holder Cost Accountant and Company Secretary. He was awarded the Udyog Ratna Award in 2010 and the TOIBP award by JCI International in 2012. He has travelled to over 45 countries and has wide exposure on textile issues. He has been a guest faculty in educational institutes like ISB, IIMs, SP Jain and many more. He has also presented a paper on Jainism and Business in TPF Annual Conference, 2012. Shri Jain is a multifaceted personality who is actively involved in various spheres of life. Currently he is appointed as a president of Northern India Textile Mills Association (NITMA).

Personal Profile: Shri Riju Jhunjhunwala, an industrialist with diversified business experience serves as the Managing Director of Rajasthan Spinning & Weaving Mills Ltd (RSWM) and is also Managing Director at Bhilwara Energy Ltd. He is also a Non-Executive Director of HEG Ltd. Among other group companies, Shri Riju Jhunjhunwala is also Director at Bhilwara Infotech Ltd., Jaipur Polyspin Ltd. and LNJ Bhilwara Textiles Anusandhan Vikas Kendra and Non-Executive Director of Bhilwara Technical Textiles Ltd and Cheslind Textiles Ltd. Shri Jhunjhunwala holds a degree in Business Management Studies.

He is an MBA from Delhi University, Post Graduate Diploma in Management from YMCA, New Delhi and Bachelor of Textiles from TIT&S.

Personal Profile: Shri Ajay Sardana currently leads Global Customers, Market Intelligence, Liaisoning and Sustainability Portfolio of Pulp & Fibre Business of Grasim Industries Ltd, which is a division of the $40 billion Aditya Birla Group. His profile at Grasim has ranged from heading the Textile Research & Application Development Centre (TRADC) to working closely with the Business Director for the overseas spinning business. He has completed his B. Tech. from TITS Bhiwani, M. Tech. from the prestigious IIT Delhi and MBA from Global Nxt U-21 Singapore & Malaysia. Shri Sardana has rich experience of more than 20 years in the global textile industry and exposure of entire textile value chain from pulp to garments.

Personal Profile: The business that was set up by the three Maheswari brothers in 1987 as a yarn trading business has come a long way and now the Nimbark Group, with a turnover of above Rs. 200 crore (US $30 million), has diversified into yarn manufacturing, fabrics, business consulting and investment banking. Under the guidance of Mr Maheshwari, Nimbark graduated from producing regular textile products to new product development of value-added yarns from new generation fibres, thereby differentiating its products from those offered by its competitors. Mr Maheshwari relies on customer’s feedback for new product development and also has a few consultants with whom he works, to deliver the latest trends.

Personal Profile: Mr. Lalit Thukral, is the founder member and Vice Chairman of India International Garment Fair Association and Executive member of the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC). He started Maharana group of Companies in 1980, which today has emerged as the one of the leading garment manufacturers specializing in bias cut dresses. His vision and guidance have made Maharana of India a name to reckon with in the international garment industry. Maharana set a milestone in 1998, when Shri Thukral introduced the ‘Reversible Dress’, which till date remains as one of the best sellers for the company. With the latest technology, Maharana has capacity to produce 90,000 pieces per month.
